DONATION OVERVIEW

WHAT IS WORKPLACE GIVING?

Workplace Giving is a simple and effective way for employees to donate to charities who are entitled to receive tax deductible donations, such as Australian Respiratory Council, directly through their pay. Employers and employees will, through Workplace Giving, assist Australian Respiratory Council to continue to work towards a community free of respiratory disease.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF WORKPLACE GIVING?

Workplace Giving programs provide a unique set of benefits for employers, employees and Australian Respiratory Council alike:
Employers: Workplace Giving can provide a low cost, administratively simple way to build employee morale and loyalty. Participating in Workplace Giving is also a great way for companies to show corporate social responsibility. It demonstrates that a business is committed ethically and commercially to the long-term economic and social development of communities. This in turn sends positive signals to investors, shareholders, employees and customers alike. Click here for information

Employees: Workplace Giving is voluntary and is an easy and convenient way for employees to make a donation from each pay. It enables affordable giving through a transparent and trustworthy program. Employees are able to make donations to the Australian Respiratory Council in an efficient and tax-effective manner, eliminating the need to collect receipts or wait until the end of the year to claim a tax refund.   Australian Respiratory Council: Workplace Giving provides long term, stable funding for core programs enabling us to plan ahead and develop even more effective programs. This funding involves little or no administrative cost as there is no need to receipt individual donors, this ensures all the donations can be utilised within programs.
