Jean Marie Santos


Director of Humanitarianism and Environment for the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA) NSW Division. NSW Program Lead for UNAA National Climate Change program. Director of the UNAA National Peace Program (2013-2018). UN Women Australia NSW Chapter Executive Committee (2012-2014). Jean is a passionate advocate for humanitarianism, sustainability, corporate social responsibility and has a track record of successfully developing and delivering programs across these areas in building awareness and making positive change. Her philanthropic engagement with Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and UNHCR for Australia has aided to improve development outcomes through collaborative partnerships with different sectors that enhance synergies and leverage the distinct comparative advantages of each partner (philanthropic, government and other development actors) towards advancing a shared vision for a more inclusive, and sustainable world. Over 20 years’ experience leading technology functions across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas. While in her current role at Lendlease, she leads the Australian Digital Place team, while also holding accountability over new innovations & leveraging technologies such as Robotics & Artificial Intelligence to deliver business value. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science major in Information Technology. Appointed to the Board of Directors May, 2019.
