For more than 100 years, the Australian Respiratory Council (ARC) has worked to improve lung health and eliminate tuberculosis (TB) in Australia and across the Indo-Pacific.
TB continues to be the world’s number one infectious killer in 2025, according to the World Health Organization. TB and respiratory disease continue to disproportionately affect vulnerable people – including children, First Nations communities, refugees, the elderly and people experiencing disadvantage.
