ARC's Approach to Project Work

ARC supports projects that contribute to the elimination of tuberculosis (TB) and the promotion of respiratory health within Australia and the Indo-Pacific Region. Our longstanding engagement, investment in, and delivery of projects has identified ARC as a leading NGO in this field within the region.

What ARC Can Offer

  • Capacity building through training and education
  • Development of training resources and materials
  • Provision of technical support on program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Community engagement and social mobilisation expertise
  • Development of information, education and communication resources to support community and professional education.

ARC works with a group of consultants and technical experts drawn from the areas of public and respiratory health, programmatic management of TB, community development and Indigenous health who can be called upon to offer advice on project design and technical issues. ARC is a small people-centred agency that endeavours to support change through strong partnerships, equity and transparency.

Proposals submitted to ARC for funding are assessed using an evaluation matrix assessing the following criteria: strength of project design, sustainable development, fit with ARC’s mission, impact for investment, deliverables and outcomes, inclusion of monitoring and evaluation and the potential to contribute to future ARC activities.
