This year, more than ever, we need your support. We are facing unprecedented challenges with the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Since March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused global disruptions, challenged health systems and restricted essential health service delivery. In many low and middle-income countries, access to care and treatment services has been severely disrupted, stalling and reversing years of progress made in the fight against tuberculosis (TB). Many of these countries, are the countries that ARC’s works in and supports.
How will your gift help?
Every dollar contributed assists ARC to continue to strive for a world free of TB and respiratory disease. Your gift will contribute to funding the following activities:
- Provide researchers with funding to initiate research that contributes to our understanding of TB and lung health
- Fund training that builds healthcare workers skills and capacity to diagnose, manage and treat people with TB
- Provide funding for projects to promote lung health and eliminate TB within Australia and the Indo-Pacific Region
- Fund the development of resources that health care workers in Australia and the Pacific Region use to provide education on TB and lung health.
